  3. Kathy Brooks - Director Kathy is resident Mama Kati and developer of all things ART. An educator by design, an artist by genetics, she is the director of 2nd Story Goods. The call on her life in Haiti is to equip folks to develop beautiful businesses. She is usually deep in thought in her studio or out in Jubilee working with the emerging artist guilds. Kathy lost her heart to Haiti in 2004 and is thankful to live here full time. The Brooks have 6 amazing kids and 4 beautiful grandchildren!
  4. Emanise Emanise has a smile on her face and hope in her heart, she is the life of the neighborhood! She is married and the mother of 6 beautiful children. She has a great eye for putting colors together and loves to make beautiful things. With her earnings she is building her own small business beside her home selling food ..she is also a great cook!
  5. Leyla Leyla is the team Leader. She is smart and her hand stitches are remarkable. Leyla is the mother of three. Her youngest is not yet in school, so she does most of her sewing of the owls while he naps or plays around her feet. She is a determined single mom. Her smile is contagious and she too, is quick to help out wherever there is a need.

  8. Philippe Philippe is a master Tailor and came to work with 2nd Story Goods in 2015 to teach and lead the sewing group. He is a master at his trade and gets really happy making beautiful things. Philippe leads a team of 9 people here and does it with integrity and respect. There is not much he can not figure out how to make!   9. Veronique Veronique is a young mom to three and a pastor’s wife in this small community of Jubilee. IN addition to a church , she and her husband have started a small school in the area. She oversees one of the Angel making guilds and is always one to get the singing started while they work. She loves being able to help her family financially while working from home. She dreams of seeing her kids grow up strong and healthy.
  10. Moslene Moslene is a mother of three and has been with the sewing project from the beginning. She is the one who cuts and sews the circle pieces. She picks and the fabrics and matches the colorful yarn. Moslene will pitch in and help whoever needs an extra pair of hands to finish their pieces.
